Do I understand right that if he had taken all the credit he could have, his effective tax rate would have been under 10% ? If Mitt is a “typical” rich guy I don’t see why they need further tax cuts.

Dennis I guess you just don’t get it. There is a difference between wages and investment income. Romney invests in businesses to earn his money. He actually contributes to the society more by doing this. The capital gains taxes are set up to ENCOURAGE investment. It is actually what keeps municipal bonds and pensions afloat.. and employees employed….did you happen to notice how much of his earnings he actually gave to chairty I am afraid not…:(
